JOINTS
(Jog Hospital’s Orthopaedic Interactive Training Seminar)
As the name suggests itself; JOINTS is an interactive training seminar where
students interact with each other and with teachers to train themselves in the
best possible way.
It is not just like a routine conference where somebody goes on talking and
nobody listens.
It includes a cascade of events in which students are trained right from
clinical examination of patients to fixation of different kinds of fractures by
different modalities in ‘Hands-on Workshop’ on bone models.
A team of eminent examiners and renowned faculty from all over the country
participates in this exhaustive training seminar to train the students regarding
approach to specific cases commonly kept in PG practical examinations followed
by “Mock Exam”.
This not only improves the confidence level of students appearing for exams but
also help them understanding the basic concepts and protocols of examining and
treating patients even in their private practice.
Hands-on workshop helps students mastering the art of Fracture Fixation with
perfection.
Looking at the course content and support and feedback of delegates in the last
two years; IOA has recognised this course as official IOA-PG training course.
Philosophy: Considering today’s scenario of PG-Training it is mandatory to have
a systematic course where students can learn orthopaedics in global way.
