Limb salvage surgery using mega prostheses has been constrained due to the lack of easy availability of, off-the-shelf modular designs that can be used without the long manufacturing lead time of a custom made implant.
The ResTOR™ cemented, modular resection prosthesis system provides a clinically proven and cost-effective solution to patients who could benefit from limb salvage surgery for bone tumours. The system is also a cost effective option for revision of a conventional joint replacement prosthesis with extensive bone loss.
