The Sushrut-Adler Group is committed to furthering the
cause of continuous learning in the field of
orthopaedics
and
traumatology. Way back in 1993, this commitment took shape in the form
of dedicated infrastructure such as workshop instrumentation the creation of teaching videos
and technique
manuals for basic and advanced trauma
courses, in partnership with senior
orthopaedic surgeons and teachers
committed to the cause of teaching and
training.
Over time, this commitment has extended to dedicated instrumentation for
newer techniques
such as intramedullary nailing, thoraco-lumbar and
cervical spine stabilization, limb salvage surgery etc.
as well as the development of artificial bone models
used for teaching through hands-on training.
Bone models with pre-created fractures, currently under development, promise to make the
learning
experience even more relevant and useful for participants.
Since 1993, the group has organized more than 45 courses in partnership
with senior orthopaedic surgeons
and
teachers with more than 3000 orthopaedic surgeons from India and other parts of Asia benefiting from
their
participation as delegates.
